Hi everyone,

Giving you all an update on the work being done on our website, in addition to announcing our first direct Qualified Supervisor training done directly through the FTN! Stay tuned for more details.

Website Updates

We are now up to over 220 of our members here signed up on the site, which is awesome! This will let you access more forms, sign up for trainings, access certain resource lists for both clients and clinicians, and otherwise connect with us more! Remember, it is FREE to join. You are under no obligation to buy or purchase anything, ever.

I’ve been shoring up our site security and general stability, and I am happy to say that we are now a fully HIPAA compliant site! I know that we are not required to be, but I felt like it was important given the work we do. I’ve also updated our data collection and privacy policy. As a note- we will NEVER sell any data that we gather about visitors to our site, and we only collect the bare minimum required in order to keep the site secure. You are free to decide your cookie settings.

I’ve taken down the resource list placeholders for now as we are going to begin getting those filled out. Some of them are still up because they have some resources on them, but expect more in the coming weeks to months. Some lists you will only have access to as a site member.

We have not been great about getting groups and CE opportunities up on our calendars, and we plan on getting more on top of that! Remember, in addition to posting on the topic days on the group, you can also submit those groups and CEs directly to our website by clicking on the links located in the topic day posts.

Some things I plan on tackling next as I have time/finances from sales:

  • Adding an accessibility widget and updating our accessibility statement

  • Getting our next CE Approval going on Laws and Rules 8 hour

  • Finish up the HIPAA Security Rule changes training and submit that for CE Credit

First Qualified Supervisor Training and Start of Consultation Groups

I am proud to announce that we have officially put onto the schedule the first Florida Therapist Network Qualified Supervisor Training! It is the 12 hour training for the QS credential and can be accessed here: https://www.floridatherapistnetwork.com/schedule. Our first training will be on July 23rd and July 24th 2026. It is a 12 general CE hour training over 2 days, with 6 hours each day that gives you the Qualified Supervisor credential. I have been asked multiple times when this will be ready and I am happy to say that it is! The price of the training is $250, which you can sign up right on the link provided. For those who are site members and sign up prior to July 1st, you will pay $225 instead! For those who also happen to also pay for the site membership, you will also get a coupon code for an additional $30 off (more on that below). You have from now until July 9th to sign up.

This will not be our only training we offer, either! Over time, we plan on getting the following initial offerings up on the website:

QS 4-Hour refresher

Laws and Rules 8 hours

Laws and Rules refresher

HIPAA Security Rule Changes training

In addition to trainings, another big request we’ve fielded has been getting together an FTN Consultation Group. I am happy to say that those are also starting up! Consultation groups will open, drop-in/out, twice a month at varies different days and times to accommodate for as many schedules as possible. They will be 1 hour long and be limited to 6 participants in addition to at least 1 modmin. We may have specific topics of discussion or we may have a more free-flowing session that you can bring whatever you wish to! You can also find them on the site here: https://www.floridatherapistnetwork.com/schedule . Our first consultation group will be April 9th at 10am. Each consultation group will cost $10 unless you have a paid site membership (again see below).

Paid Site Memberships

As we make more resources available for clinicians and put more work into the website and training, we wanted to come up with a way to feasibly sustain the website. Over multiple discussions we came to the conclusion that a small fee annual membership seems to be the way to go.

As stated above, it will NEVER cost anything to join the FTN website and utilize its resources. However, if you are looking to support the FTN financially and are interested in more of the consultation groups and trainings, then this would be something that you could do that would not only be cost effective to you, but also ensure consistent support for the website maintenance.

A paid annual membership costs $30 and you get it for 12 months from the time you purchase it. You can find it here: https://www.floridatherapistnetwork.com/pri.../ftnmembership

It allows for a few extra things:

  • You can schedule as many consultation groups as you wish to attend as part of your annual membership (so if you plan on going to more than 3 in a year then this is more cost effective).

  • You get $30 off the cost of the Qualified Supervisor training (as more trainings come out, this may stay and apply to any one training)

  • A directory listing directly on the website (still a work in progress, so not ready now, but hopefully will be by end of summer/early fall).

Possible additional resources/forms/code to trainings as they come out or offerings adjust.

We have more exciting things to share in the coming months, but just wanted to keep everyone aware of what’s going on right now. I hope it helps! And I hope to see everyone at some of these first consultations and trainings soon! 🙂
