Hi everyone,

Giving you all an update on the work being done on our website, in addition to announcing our second direct Qualified Supervisor training done directly through the FTN! Stay tuned for more details.

Website Updates

  • We are now up to almost 500 members here signed up on the site, which is awesome! This will let you access more forms, sign up for trainings, access certain resource lists for both clients and clinicians, and otherwise connect with us more! Remember, it is FREE to join. You are under no obligation to buy or purchase anything, ever.

  • I will be making more general website updates for functionality and organizing the tabs better as we offer more stuff. You will find there to be some slight changes over time. I am also making sure the mobile version of the website stays updated too.

  • I’m STILL working on the resource lists. Sorry that is taking forever! This is still planned and bookmarked in my to-do lists for the site. I hope to chunk out some additional (and also make them searchable) over the holiday season. Some lists you will only have access to as a site member.

  • We have been doing much better about getting groups, job postings, and CE opportunities up on our calendars! We are handling requests within 24-48 hours now. Remember, in addition to posting on the topic days on the group, you can also submit those groups and CEs directly to our website by clicking on the links located in the topic day posts.

  • Now that I have some capital going from services and stuff, I have completed these items! All but the Laws and Rules 8 Hour is up. We have that training submitted but still awaiting manual approval.

    • Adding an accessibility widget and updating our accessibility statement

    • Getting our next CE Approval going on Laws and Rules 8 hour

    • Finish up the HIPAA Security Rule changes training and submit that for CE Credit

Second Qualified Supervisor Training and Start of Consultation Groups

  • I am proud to announce that we have officially put onto the schedule the second Florida Therapist Network Qualified Supervisor Training!

  • It is the 12 hour training for the QS credential and can be accessed here: https://www.floridatherapistnetwork.com/service-page/qualified-supervisor-qs-training

  • Our next training will be on December 18th and December 19th, 2026 from 9am-4pm. It is a 12 general CE hour training over 2 days, with 6 hours each day that gives you the Qualified Supervisor credential. We had a really great first group of Qualified Supervisors, and after popular requests we are bringing another round of training back this year! The price of the training is $250, which you can sign up right on the link provided. NOTE: Because this is outside of my regularly scheduled training cycle, this training will only occur if we have AT LEAST 5 PARTICIPANTS in the training. The cutoff will be two weeks prior, on December 4th. If less than 5 people sign up then we will reschedule the training and I will refund any payments made.

  • This is not be our only training we offer, either! Right now, we have on additional training up on the website, with Laws and Rules 8 Hour Pending.

Upgrading Consultation Groups

  • We’ve been looking at how we are doing consultation groups, and I think we’ve identified some ways to better improve it. Expect some changes to this as we move into the new year.

Monthly Newsletter

  • To continue with communicating with everyone outside of the FB group, we are going to be starting a monthly newsletter! It will include relevant news from the last month from the board or the field, celebrating victories with Florida providers, and new opportunities and offerings from the FTN or close partners. You should start seeing these next month!

We have more exciting things to share in the coming months, but just wanted to keep everyone aware of what’s going on right now. I hope it helps!
